Awl - with point protector - Prym

An Awl is not a very typical tufting tool, but I do like it for some parts in the process. Even the point protector can help you at some points.

We use the awl to undo tufted stitches. 

The awl and the protector also work great when cleaning up the front while carving your rug. It works perfectly as a line separator.
